Why they came to us

The NHS needed to produce an interactive learning programme for GPs and health practioners that work with children, to support Safeguarding Practice. They needed the material to be distributed on a medium that would work across the wide and varying array of hardware, both old and new, in use throughout the NHS.

How we went about it

A lot of consideration was put into determining the most stable, to reduce the chance that a user could not run the program on their computer. As such, we decided to author the content to be used with a standard web browser, but distributed on CD. This means no internet connection was needed to view the material, but practically every machine spec we reviewed had a browser.

The CD-rom content and CD packaging were designed, from the ground-up, in house, providing a strong identity through the project.

What we delivered

A beautifully designed, but highly important interactive project was distributed to GPs and health practioners, safe in the knowledge that it would “just work”.

How they feel

“The finished product is simply fantastic and has been rolled out to a wider audience than we originally anticipated. It has been really well received and is helping to increase Safeguarding Practice. A big thanks to the team at JP74.”
