Certeco – Visit the site
Why they came to us
Certeco are London-based specialists in IT Programme Management, Quality Assurance and Testing Services. The company is founded on the existing business of Novum Europe, established in 2002, and counts amongst its current clients five of the UK’s largest businesses.
Certeco’s brief to JP74 was that they wanted to develop a new brand look and feel for Certeco as well as launching a new website.
Rather than targeting IT Managers, they would be aiming their services at C-Class executives in the top FTSE 100 companies and therefore they required a brand look and feel that would differentiate Certeco from the run-of-the mill IT testing companies.
How we went about it
Certeco translates to ‘certainty’ and with this as our inspiration, we devised a brand look and feel that speaks with assurance to visitors. We wanted to create a ‘human’ brand, one that really reflected the personalities of the Certeco board members.
Personal relationships are one of the most critical aspects of a business partnership and we wanted to capture this in the style of the photography. Each of the key members of the Certeco team were encouraged to be themselves on the shoot. This resulted in a style of photography that remains true to Certeco’s brand values of being: open, honest, intelligent and friendly.
What we delivered
We delivered a one-two package of a strong identity and look and feel for Certeco, which was applied across key items for their launch, followed up by a website that reflected the brand positioning of Certeco, ‘beyond testing’.
The site has been designed to facilitate easy updating and uses complimentary imagery on arrival to illustrate their positioning.
